Furnishing New Beginnings

We are an independent charity based in Derby

For the purpose of providing free, good quality furniture to those who have been rehoused due to crisis, promoting the recycling and re-use of furniture, and facilitating voluntary work opportunities and training in furniture restoration.

Sustainable Living

Hope City Furniture promotes and encourages the reuse of furniture and other household goods in order to reduce unnecessary landfill or unsightly fly tipping. Good quality furniture and other items which add to the problem of waste will be upcycled and reused in order to help someone else furnish their home.

Furniture Donations

We welcome furniture and household donations, including white goods and appliances if they are in good working order, and run a free collection service for this purpose. All items donated will be used to furnish homes for those in need.
